Damon and Ramon

Williams

ABOUT US

Twin brothers Ramon and Damon Williams are former Division I basketball standouts and Hall of Famers at The Virginia Military Institute.

Their love of basketball and the values they embraced as players have led them to enjoy successful and fulfilling careers.  Damon works in the banking industry as a community development officer and remains active in the sports community as an NCAA official.  For much of his career, Ramon served as a basketball coach in the ACC, Big East, Atlantic 10 and the Southern Conferences.  The leadership skills and deep understanding of interpersonal relationships made him an ideal candidate for his current career as a development officer at his alma mater.  The twins are prominent and active members of Roanoke valley communities and have partnered with individuals locally and across the state to provide opportunities to youth in Virginia.

Ramon and Damon help run and serve on boards of numerous local and charitable organizations including the Carilion Medical Center, The Economic Development Authority, the Boys Home of Virginia, The Foundation of Roanoke Valley, the Blue Ridge Housing Development and The Boys and Girls Club of SWVA.  In recognition of their selfless commitment to their community, the twins were honored with "the key to the city" of Roanoke by the late Mayor Noel C. Taylor.

Ramon and Damon feel truly blessed for the opportunities they have been given in life.  They started Youth Sports, Inc. and developed its programs TWIN Hoops Basketball, Fundamentals - Up Your Game, 3on3 The League and TWINspiration to ensure that all youth are given the same opportunity to cultivate abilities and achieve personal, educational and professional goals.
